IPS officer Kishan Sahay Meena, from the Rajasthan cadre, has faced suspension. Assigned to election duty in Jharkhand by the Election Commission of India, Meena sought leave due to illness. However, he left without approval. Subsequently, following recommendations from the Election Commission, his suspension was enforced.

Meena is stationed at the Jaipur Police Headquarters. Earlier, his controversial social media post stirred debates. On his Facebook page, he described entities like God, Allah, Lord, Waheguru as fictional. This sparked significant backlash against him.

Controversy Over IPS Officer's Facebook Remarks

In Meena's post, he proclaimed, "If there were a deity or Allah, they wouldn't allow Indians to be subjected to colonial rule. Religious myths like deities, God, Allah, angels, heaven and hell can be contradicted in many ways because they are purely imaginary and fabricated."
