Sanjay Raut, a Member of Parliament from Shiv Sena (UBT), has accused Anna Hazare of silence on corruption under the BJP government since 2014. Following the Delhi assembly election results, Anna Hazare remarked that Arvind Kejriwal's focus on money led to the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) defeat. On the other hand, Anna Hazare has also responded sharply. He stated, "Some people interpret things according to their own mental state."
According to reports, while speaking to journalists in Mumbai on Tuesday, Sanjay Raut stated, "Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia turned Anna Hazare into a revered figure. Without them, Anna wouldn't have seen Delhi or gone to places like Ram Leela and Jantar Mantar to protest against corruption.
The Member of Parliament pointed out that corruption occurred under the BJP-led governments at the center and in Maharashtra since 2014, yet Anna Hazare hasn’t uttered a word. Responding to Raut's criticism, Hazare said, "A person wearing glasses of a particular perspective sees the world accordingly."

Candidate's Conduct Must Be Appropriate
Regarding the poor performance of the Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi elections, Anna Hazare had previously commented that he always maintained that a candidate's behavior and thoughts should be pure. Life should bear no blemishes, enhancing voter trust through virtuous qualities. He mentioned advising Kejriwal on these matters, but Kejriwal focused on liquor and was complacent with power.
