The iPhone maker launches its inaugural store in Uttar Pradesh. With this, Apple marks its fifth store in India. The store opens to the public on December 11 at 1 PM.

Apple entered the Indian retail market with its first store in 2023, beginning with Mumbai BKC, followed by Saket in Delhi. This year also saw store openings in Pune and Bengaluru.

Apple’s fifth storefront is located in Noida, occupying the ground floor of DLF Mall of India. Reports indicate a 11-year lease agreement has been signed for this vibrant location.

The store spans an area of 8,240.78 square feet. Interestingly, Apple has negotiated a rent-free first year, after which they will pay INR 263.15 per square foot.

This translates to a monthly rent of approximately INR 4.53 million, with a yearly total of about INR 54 million. According to the agreement, rent is set to increase by 15% every three years.
