Former Team India captain Rohit Sharma is in spectacular form in One Day Internationals (ODIs). On December 6th (Saturday), during the match against South Africa at Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, Rohit Sharma showcased his remarkable batting skills. He scored 75 runs off 73 balls, which included seven boundaries and three sixes.

At 38, Rohit Sharma achieved a prestigious milestone. He reached the 20,000-run mark in international cricket. Before this match, he was just 27 runs shy of this achievement, which he accomplished with ease. Rohit is only the fourth Indian batsman to cross the 20,000-run threshold in international cricket, following legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and Virat Kohli.

Overall, Rohit Sharma becomes the 14th batsman to achieve 20,000 runs in international cricket. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for the most runs in international cricket, having amassed 34,357 runs across 664 matches at an average of 48.52, with 100 centuries and 164 half-centuries.
