By 7:30 AM, the first phase of voting for the Delhi University Students' Union Election had already begun. The administration had promised strict security measures, but evidence of non-compliance was rampant. Streets were strewn with printed posters and banners that flagrantly violated election rules.

It became clear that the High Court's orders during the DUSU election were ignored. Supporters of various candidates were seen campaigning with drums and banners, openly flouting court directives. Between votes, numerous student organizations were caught using leaflets and posters to promote their candidates clandestinely.

Posters Litter Streets

Within the university campus, leaflets and posters for all parties and candidates cluttered the roads. This was explicitly against the High Court's order, which stipulated a ban on campaigning post-election day. However, members of the ABVP and NSUI were spotted utilizing drums to engage voters.
