Yellow Alert for 3 Days in Delhi
As for the weather in the capital city, intermittent rain occurred on Tuesday with a maximum temperature recorded at 33.6 degrees Celsius, 0.6 degrees below the normal. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for rain in the next three days. IMD predicts a cloud cover with light to moderate rains on Wednesday. A yellow alert has been issued, advising caution. The upcoming days might see worsening conditions, meaning waterlogging and disrupted traffic may occur in Delhi once again. The maximum and minimum temperatures on Wednesday are expected to be around 33 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Downpour Expected in These States Today
According to the weather forecast agency, Skymet, today (August 14) might see light to moderate rains with some heavy spells in areas of Haryana, Delhi, parts of eastern and northern Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Kerala, interior Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and southern Karnataka. Bihar, Jharkhand, northeastern India, Vidarbha, Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Gujarat might experience light to moderate rains. Light rainfall is also possible in Saurashtra and Kutch, Maharashtra, the southern coast of Andhra Pradesh, coastal Tamil Nadu, Ladakh, and western Rajasthan.
Rain Continues for the Fourth Day in Rajasthan
The rain continued for the third day in Rajasthan and is likely to persist today, the fourth day. Torrential rain caused 22 fatalities over Sunday and Monday. Although there was significant rain, especially in eastern Rajasthan on Tuesday, no casualties were reported. On Wednesday, a heavy to very heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Bharatpur, Ajmer, Jaipur, and Kota divisions. Some areas in eastern Rajasthan may witness moderate to heavy rains on Thursday and Friday.

213 Roads Closed in Himachal
In addition, due to rain, landslides, and floods, 213 roads are closed in Himachal Pradesh. The local weather office has issued a yellow alert for heavier rainfall in different parts of the state until August 19.
