The police have achieved significant success in the Disha Patani house firing case in Bareilly. In an encounter on Tuesday in Ghaziabad's Tronica City area, the main accused Ravindra and Arun were shot down. This operation was a joint endeavor by UP STF, Delhi Police Special Cell, and Haryana STF.
The accused were identified as Ravindra alias Kallu from Kheni, Rohtak, and Arun from Gohana Road, Sonipat. Both shooters were active members of the infamous Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara gang. Several cartridges along with Glock and Zigana pistols were seized from the spot.
Encounter Eliminates Patani House Firing Shooters
On September 12, around 3:45 AM, two assailants on a bike fired approximately nine rounds at Disha Patani's residence in Bareilly. The gang claimed responsibility on social media, citing comments made by actress's sister Khushboo Patani about narrators Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya as the motive for revenge.

After the incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath contacted Jagdish Patani, Disha's father and former DSP, ensuring the family's safety. Police scrutinized over 2,500 CCTV footages to identify the accused. Officials suggest that the encounter will accelerate investigations, potentially leading to the arrest of other gang members soon.
