The double murder in UP's Budaun has sent shockwaves through the community. Last night, assailants Sajid and Javed forcefully entered a home, claiming the lives of youngsters Ayush (13) and Ahaan (6), in a brutal attack. The children were slaughtered with cold precision, their throats slit with a blade. The atrocity's aftermath included a heart-wrenching confession to the deceased children's mother, 'Today, I've completed my work,' – a grim revelation cited in the FIR copy.
According to the report filed by Vinod Kumar, father to the deceased, the events unfolded on the 19th of March. Sajid and Javed invaded the residence, demanding money from my wife, feigning illness, and ascending to the roof. There, they repeatedly struck Ayush and Ahaan with a knife, ending their young lives. Attempting the same on a third child, who narrowly escaped their wrath.
While descending from the rooftop, my wife noticed the blood-soaked knife in their hands. Amidst their exit, they declared they had finished their task.

Sajid had told my wife Sangita that his spouse was due for delivery around 11 PM and requested ₹5000. During this time, his brother Javed stood guard outside on the motorcycle. Sangita agreed to the money, sending the middle son Piyush to buy tobacco.
Sajid leveraged the opportunity, taking the youngest, Ahaan, to the roof under the pretense of unease and sending Ayush to fetch water – this was when he signalled Javed to join him inside.
A grisly crime ensued on the rooftop, where Sajid and Javed, along with the children, engaged in a deadly onslaught. When Sangita fetched the money and stepped out, she witnessed Sajid and Javed descending the stairs, knife in blood, telling her their task was complete. Sangita in horror alerted the neighbors with her screams. They then discovered the children lying in pools of their blood – already gone from this world. Third son Piyush arrived with the tobacco but was also attacked, suffering severe injuries to his hand, though he survived.
Regarding the grisly double murder in Budaun, SSP Alok Priyadarshi confirmed that law and order are under control. The accused Sajid was known to the victim's family, owning a barbershop fronting their house. On that fateful evening at 7:30, they entered the home, and upon attacking the children on the rooftop, committed the horrific murders.
The area erupted into chaos as news of the double murder broke, with irate locals setting the assailants' salon ablaze. Heavy forces, including PAC and RAF, were deployed to curb the violence. Presently, the deceased children have been returned to the village for their funeral under police protection, while a manhunt for the fugitive Javed intensifies.
