In the town of Jahazpur in Bhilwara, a routine drive took a tragic turn when a car collided with a vegetable cart selling potatoes and onions. This seemingly minor accident escalated rapidly; the enraged crowd meted out brutal justice, leading to the death of the car's driver. The incident has sparked tensions akin to communal unrest, prompting authorities to deploy a substantial number of police forces to maintain order. Shockwaves from the murder spread through the town, drawing large crowds to the hospital where the victim was taken, and resulting in the closure of local markets to prevent further chaos.

It is reported that the car, occupied by young men, was passing nearby a minority community's religious site when it hit the cart. Reacting in anger, the people around beat the driver to death. As news of this incident spread, a furious crowd gathered within the precincts of Jahazpur's government hospital. Gopi Chand Meena, the area's legislative representative, also arrived, strongly demanding strict action against those responsible for the grievous crime.

The police revealed that four youths from Tonk city had driven the car to Jahazpur. The vehicle accidentally struck the cart near a minority community’s holy site, sparking a dispute that resulted in the mob lynching Sitaram, one of the youths. The violent backlash from the murder drew great anger from residents, causing turmoil in the area. Consequently, the authorities have enforced a heavy police presence to restore peace.

One suspect has been apprehended thus far, and several others are being held in custody as part of ongoing investigations. The local market has also been shuttered to deter further escalations. The bereaved brother-in-law of the deceased, Sitaram’s brother-in-law, recounted that Sitaram and his friends Sikandar, Dilkhush, and Deepak had arrived at the scene around 6 PM. Near Takia Mosque, Rais Fakir’s onion cart had been set up, when misfortune struck.

Amid this, their car struck the cart, scattering onions everywhere. Sitaram got out to apologize and offered to compensate. But soon, local shop owners by the mosque, including Babukhan, Wasim, Shahrukh, Saddam, Hasnain, Mohsin, Sahil, Islam, Tanveer, Sharif, Hanif, Abid, Idris, Gulzar, and Murtaza, alongside 20-25 others, began attacking Sitaram.
