The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced the dates for the third edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE 2027). The upcoming Auto Expo will be held from February 4 to 9, 2027, in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi. The event aims to bring together industry representatives, policymakers, and technology experts from across the mobility spectrum.

According to the official statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the next edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo will take place in Delhi NCR in February 2027. Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Heavy Industries, this motor show has emerged as a comprehensive platform to showcase developments in the automotive and mobility value chain.

The first two editions, held in 2024 and 2025, saw participation from several industry giants and introduced cutting-edge mobility technologies to the world. When the second edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo was hosted at the India Mandapam, Delhi, in January of this year, electric and hybrid vehicles took center stage with a spotlight on state-of-the-art automobiles.

This year, the motor show was hosted across three venues—India Mandapam, Yashobhoomi, and India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida—spanning 200,000 square meters. More than 1500 exhibitors participated, and the ministry noted that approximately 980,000 visitors attended this grand event. Highlights included product launches, technology showcases, conferences, buyer-seller meetings, and international delegations.

During the event, Maruti unveiled its first electric car, the Maruti e-Vitara, while Hyundai introduced an electric version of its popular Creta. Additionally, Honda and Suzuki launched their first electric scooters, Activa e and Access E, respectively. Expectations are high for the next motor show as well.

The ministry states that BMGE 2027 will continue to feature exhibitions, technology sessions, and stakeholder consultations as per the previous edition's format. Furthermore, new segments are being considered to enhance the grandeur of the Auto Expo. This includes a dedicated segment on 'Multi-Modal Mobility and Logistics' that integrates rail, road, air, water, urban, and rural mobility. Focus will also be directed towards tractor and agricultural mobility solutions.

The third motor show will once again be hosted in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) at three significant venues: India Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in Dwarka, and India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. Following this year's successful event, the government is looking to make the motor show even more appealing.
