In the labyrinthine streets of Lahore's underworld, Aamir Sarfaraz, also known as 'Tamba', met a brutal end at the hands of unknown attackers within his own sanctuary. At his residence in Lahore, he was fatally shot. Two 'mysterious assailants' arrived at his doorstep mounted on a bike. Upon the ringing of his doorbell, it was Sarfaraz himself who answered. The moment he opened the door, the assailants forced their way in and showered Sarfaraz with a hail of bullets.

It is said that Sarfaraz took about 4-5 rounds. The hitmen arrived around 1:30 PM, and after executing their deadly mission, they vanished. Suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Sarfaraz was rushed to the hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. However, sources suggest that he was probably deceased by the time aid arrived.

Amidst the chaos that unfolded, a foreboding silence has descended upon the top echelons of the terrorist organization LeT. Sarfaraz's power and influence in Lahore grew significantly following the murder of Sarabjit. Constantly flanked by bodyguards, Sarfaraz was a man of considerable clout.

Pakistan's intelligence agency, ISI, had provided security for Sarfaraz. Born in 1979 in Lahore, he was a trusted ally of the LeT founder. Sarfaraz's notoriety had risen significantly after the attack on Sarabjit Singh within prison walls. Despite the charges, Sarfaraz was acquitted by a Pakistani court due to a 'lack of evidence' in 2018. Known as 'The Don of Lahore', he was part of the infamous 'Truckenwala gang' and was actively involved in property dealing and drug trafficking.
