In a strategic move, the BJP has released its candidate list for 17 seats in Bihar, where notable parliamentarian Ashwini Choubey has been surprisingly dropped from Buxar. Meanwhile, Vivek Thakur, a respected leader and son of Dr. C.P. Thakur, has been granted the ticket for Nawada. Giriraj Singh holds firm as the candidate for Begusarai. The party's recent decisions have put an end to the ongoing speculations about seat allocations and candidacies.

Ashwini Choubey's spot from Buxar has been handed over to Mithilesh Tiwari, while Sasaram sees Chedi Paswan replaced by Shivesh Ram, and Muzaffarpur's Ajay Nishad's ticket has been passed to Raj Bhushan Nishad.

All BJP Candidates Announced for Bihar

With this announcement, the BJP has declared all candidates for its share of seats in Bihar. Earlier on Sunday, ally JD(U) had also released names for 16 candidates. Excluding Buxar, Sasaram, and Muzaffarpur, the BJP has placed its trust in incumbent faces at other constituencies.

JD(U) Clears Two Incumbent MPs from Roster

JD(U) has also made its candidate announcements for 16 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, sealing the fate of two existing MPs. The party has decided to replace them with fresh faces, dismissing Sitamarhi MP Sunil Kumar Pintu and Siwan MP Kavita Singh in favor of new candidates.
