In the case of the murder of trader Sunil Jain in Delhi's Farsh Bazar, the police are delving into a new dimension. There's a looming question: Did the assailants seek revenge for a Diwali double murder and mistakenly kill Sunil Jain due to erroneous identity recognition? Currently, the police are thoroughly investigating the mistaken identity angle in this murder case.

In fact, Sumit, who was riding with Sunil Jain on a scooter, provided shocking details to the police during interrogation. Sumit claimed that two miscreants approached on a blue Apache bike. One came near the scooter and asked in Haryanvi, ‘Who is named Virat here?’

Sumit replied that no one named Virat was present there. Subsequently, the assailants shot Sunil Jain immediately. The other culprit also began firing. There was no Virat among those on the scooter, so the puzzling question remains: which Virat were the assailants seeking? With this new Virat theory emerging, police are intensifying their scrutiny over the mistaken identity facet in the investigation.
