Notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi asserts that a conspiracy is brewing against him, involving the police. He contends that he and his brother Anmol Bishnoi are being framed. He insists he's imprisoned, questioning how he could possibly threaten or orchestrate anyone's murder. During a video conference with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Jodhpur on Saturday, the gangster elaborated on his innocence.
Bishnoi reiterated to the magistrate, "I am inside a prison. How can I issue any threats or cause harm? This is a conspiracy against me, and my brother Anmol is being dragged into it. Without access to mobile phones in prison, how can I communicate with anyone? Some people are simply using my name, and the police are fully complicit in this plot."
From Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi made a statement before a judge in a case involving threats and attempted murder against the owner of Jodhpur's Jain Travels. He declared that the police are fabricating false cases against him. When the judge mentioned that the shooters admitted to transferring money from Punjab through his account, Lawrence questioned how he could have possibly orchestrated this from jail.
When the judge inquired about the shooters' claims of being connected to Lawrence Bishnoi, the gangster reiterated that he doesn't have a mobile in custody. He emphasized that others are exploiting his name. His lawyer, Sanjay Bishnoi, explained that statements were made via VC regarding the attempted murder and extortion charges against the owner of Jain Travels on March 4, 2017.
During the hearing, Lawrence Bishnoi's statements were recorded in Judge Harshit Hada's court, where he faced 50 questions. To most questions, he affirmed his incarceration, asserting his incapacity to commit such acts. His lawyers, Sanjay Bishnoi and Sunil Charan, addressed many of these questions. Lawrence further leveled sensational accusations against the police for pressuring him to confess to crimes.
On March 4, 2017, assailants from Lawrence's gang attempted to shoot Manish Jain, owner of Jain Travels in Jodhpur. Fortunately, due to a pistol jam, they had to flee without firing. This incident involved an extortion call from Lawrence's gang. Consequently, a case was registered against Lawrence Bishnoi.
Lawrence's gang is notoriously infamous across the country. Regular extortion calls in his name are made to businessmen and property dealers, demanding crores. If refused, initial shootings are followed by murders in many cases. Recently, Anmol Bishnoi's name emerged in the NCP leader Baba Siddiqui's murder case.
