Interestingly, in 2002, Palash Sen starred in the film Filhaal, marking its 24-year milestone since it premiered on February 2. Recognizing the occasion, Palash posted the film's poster, reminiscing about the movie's performance, which, unfortunately, did not succeed at the box office.
Sharing the poster, Palash wrote, "About 24 years ago, my debut film as an actor Filhaal was released, which sadly didn't fare well. During that phase, a slew of critics wrote harsh reviews about me, and even the film industry folks had unkind remarks. One notable model-actress even lectured me on why I shouldn't pursue acting. There were numerous individuals who advised me to step away from acting."
"The truth is, cinema was never my passion. I took on the film because I yearned to sing a piece brilliantly penned by Gulzar Sahab and composed by the legendary Anu Ji, making it a dream moment for me. I genuinely couldn’t comprehend why people viewed me as a 'risk.' I was simply here to have fun while working with utmost dedication," he added.
