Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, India has now retaliated. On Monday night, the Indian Armed Forces executed 'Operation Sindoor'. Under this operation, the Indian Air Force conducted airstrikes on nine terrorist locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK). Dubbed 'Operation Sindoor', it targeted jihadist bases like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba, which have been responsible for major terrorist attacks in India for three decades. Terrorists murdered Shubham Dwivedi from Kanpur in Pahalgam.

Aishanya, grieved by the loss of her husband within two months of marriage, has issued a statement. She told an agency, 'I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for avenging my husband's death. This is a true tribute.' Wherever Shubham is today, he must feel at peace. Though too small to say much to PM Modi, my heartfelt thanks remain.

Responses have swiftly come from others who lost husbands, sons, or fathers. Earlier, Pragati, the wife of one of the victims, Santosh Jagdale, stated that the operation was a fitting reply to the atrocities that erased our vermillion. Hearing the name of this operation brought tears to my eyes. I sincerely thank the government.
