Maoist activities suffered a significant blow around the tri-junction area of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Andhra Pradesh. The Koraput District Police and the District Voluntary Force (DVF) successfully captured the wanted Maoist leader, Kunjam Hidma, also known as Mohan, in a combined anti-Naxal operation.
During the operation, security forces confiscated a substantial stockpile of weapons and Maoist materials, including an AK-47 rifle, 35 rounds of ammunition, 117 detonators (both electric and non-electric), gunpowder, wireless radios, knives, and Maoist literature.
