In response to Russia's assault on Ukraine and ongoing threats toward NATO nations, coupled with China's menacing military drills and pressure on Taiwan, the United States has showcased its military prowess with the successful launch of its most perilous nuclear missile. This maneuver is an overt demonstration aimed at maintaining peace by exhibiting strength.

This missile is known as the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). Previously, the US had tested this missile on August 16, 2022, and September 7, 2022. This time, the launching took place at Vandenberg Air Force Base, orchestrated by the Air Force Global Strike Command.

Notably, the Minuteman-3 ICBM is unarmed for this test. However, as a nuclear missile, it is amid tensions linked to China's strife with Taiwan and the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, signaling an escalation in defensive measures.

With a range of 10,000 kilometers and a staggering speed of 28,200 km/hr, this missile's performance is unrivaled. It is capable of reaching altitudes of up to 1100 km, enough to dismantle any satellite in space. Its exceptional velocity renders it one of the most fearsome weapons in the arsenal.

The Minuteman III ICBM's launch requires large silos embedded in the ground. This colossal missile, standing close to 60 feet tall and with a diameter of 5.6 feet, is propelled by a three-stage solid-fuel rocket engine. It's designed to strike multiple targets in a single mission, making it a formidable tool for strategic military objectives.
