Multiple Layers of Security Checks
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, had assured the conduction of the exam within six months after canceling it. Preparations to re-conduct the canceled constable recruitment exam in UP Police have now been completed. Multiple layers of security arrangements have been checked to prevent any irregularities this time.
Before conducting the re-exam, the Police Recruitment Board has checked whether the doors of the treasury and the entire corridor are covered by CCTV cameras. Questions were also asked regarding the type of DVR and hard disk for the cameras, the duty roster of the police personnel, security personnel stationed in the treasury, the logbook, and fire safety measures. Various security checks have been conducted to avoid any mistakes in the exam. The recruitment board had also asked district captains for a report on the number of entry-exit points and windows in the treasury. After receiving the reports from the district police captains, the recruitment board has proceeded with its actions. Candidates are advised to continue their preparations and keep an eye on the UPPRPB website https://uppbpb.gov.in/ for further information.
