After meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump indicated that America is considering supplying Ukraine with additional Patriot missile batteries to bolster Kyiv's defense against Russian attacks.
'Putin Must End This War'
Trump said, 'These missiles are incredibly hard to acquire, yet we're evaluating if we can send some to Ukraine.' This remark was delivered during a press conference following NATO's annual meeting.
He highlighted that Zelensky is eager to conclude the war, and stated he would soon engage with Russian President Vladimir Putin on this matter. Trump clearly emphasized, 'Look, Vladimir Putin must bring this war to an end.'
Peaceful Resolutions as in Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Drawing parallels, Trump mentioned the peace that emerged post-Hiroshima and Nagasaki, suggesting a new rationale for ending armed conflicts.
Concerns Over Iran-Israel Conflict Resurfacing
Trump also expressed concerns regarding the Iran-Israel confrontation, cautioning, 'There might be a re-escalation between Iran and Israel, potentially very soon.' He remarked on Iran's strategic advantage at present but doubted their intention to re-engage in nuclear initiatives.
