Direct Flights from 15 Indian Cities
The Indian Embassy also shared a TAT post urging travelers to avoid the seven troubled provinces in Thailand. Thailand remains a highly favored destination among Indian tourists. More than 400 weekly flights connect over 15 Indian cities to Thailand, serviced by major airlines offering direct routes.
In 2024, 2.1 Million Indians Visited Thailand
According to official records, approximately 2.1 million Indian tourists visited Thailand in 2024, comprising around 6% of total international tourists. The Indian-origin population in Thailand ranges from 400,000 to 500,000, with over 25,000 being NRIs. Most reside in Bangkok.
