A horrifying incident has emerged from the Tundla area in Firozabad district, Uttar Pradesh. A woman concocted a sinister plan to murder her husband with the help of her lover. She ordered a toxic substance (Sulfas) online, mixed it with yogurt, and fed it to her husband, leading to his death. In this case, the police have arrested the accused wife Shashi and her lover Yadavendra, while they continue the search for the third suspect, Ved Prakash.
Investigations revealed that Shashi had an affair with a local truck driver, Yadavendra. When her husband Sunil Kumar found out, Shashi, along with her lover and an accomplice, planned to eliminate Sunil. Fearing arrest if the poison was purchased locally, they opted for an online pesticide purchase.

The parcel reached them on May 13, 2025. On the day, Shashi mixed a small amount of poison in yogurt and fed it to Sunil, who became ill and was admitted to the trauma center. After recovering, he was sent home. On the following day, May 14, Shashi poisoned Sunil again, resulting in his death.

Preparations were underway for the last rites without a postmortem when Sunil's mother grew suspicious of her daughter-in-law. She filed a murder complaint at the Tundla police station. The police registered a case and started an investigation, arresting Shashi and Yadavendra. According to Superintendent of Police Ravishankar Prasad, this heinous crime has been uncovered, and efforts to capture the third suspect are ongoing. Both arrested suspects have been presented in court and sent to jail. The police assert that the third suspect will be apprehended soon.
