To maintain efficient health services during the COVID era, a large number of temporary hires were made. Now, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a significant gift to these workers. The CM stated that the dedication and service shown by these personnel, who disregarded their own safety during COVID times, is truly inspiring. In future appointments, these employees will be given preference. The CM has instructed the formulation of regulations in this regard.
Post-service, Payment is a Right for Workers
Additionally, the CM announced that all temporary/out-sourced personnel from the COVID period immediately receive any pending remuneration. Should the concerned agency fail to pay after government/departmental release, immediate measures should be taken to ensure payment. It is a worker's right to receive the payment on time.
Monitoring of New COVID Variants
Keeping in mind the potential wave of COVID, it was mentioned that there might be an increase in new cases in the coming days. We must stay alert. This isn't the time to panic but to be cautious and vigilant. Adhering to COVID protocols is essential. CM asked officials to keep a continuous watch on new COVID variants. Genome sequencing should be performed on new cases.
