Rohini Acharya, daughter of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) founder Lalu Prasad Yadav, has made a sharp post on social media without naming anyone, which is considered to be aimed directly at her brother Tejashwi Yadav. In her post, Rohini wrote that there is no need for outsiders to erase a 'great legacy'; one's own people are enough. She mentioned that ego and misguided advice are pushing some family members towards erasing the identity and existence they were given.
She warned that when judgment becomes clouded and arrogance takes over, destructive forces gain control over one's thoughts and decisions. In her X post, Rohini stated, 'One does not need outsiders to destroy a legacy painstakingly created. A few conspirators within family are enough. It's surprising that those who owe their identity to a legacy are so ready to erase it.'

After the Bihar election results, a rift in the Lalu family was exposed when Rohini Acharya accused her younger brother Tejashwi Yadav of serious allegations. The RJD faced a crushing defeat in the Bihar legislative elections, winning only 25 seats despite contesting over 140. RJD's allies also performed poorly. Congress was limited to just six seats, while the performance of left parties was negligible. The new party Jan Suraj, led by Prashant Kishor, failed to open its account. The day after the Bihar election results, Rohini Acharya announced her decision to leave politics and sever ties with the Lalu family. In an emotional post, she alleged that after questioning the party's poor performance, she was humiliated by her brother Tejashwi Yadav and his close associate, RJD MP Sanjay Yadav. Rohini accused Tejashwi of using abusive language towards her and even attempting to assault her with a slipper.
Previously, she posted on X, 'Yesterday, a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a mother were despicably abused and humiliated. A slipper was raised to beat me. I didn't compromise my self-respect, nor did I step back from the truth, and that's what cost me dearly.' She mentioned being forced to leave home leaving behind her weeping parents and siblings. She wrote, 'My identity was stripped away, leaving me orphaned.' She also accused some family members of ridiculing her for donating a kidney to her father.

Her target was her brother Tejashwi Yadav and his advisor Sanjay Yadav.
