Following the release of the Congress Party's manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections, BJP President JP Nadda and PM Modi critiqued it by saying it's hard to discern whether it belongs to Congress or the Muslim League. They pointed out the overt pandering and promised reservations within the manifesto, demanding an explanation. Responding to their statements, Congress’s spokesperson and social media head, Supriya Shrinate, offered a riposte.

'PM Modi's Inextricable Bond with the Muslim League...'

Shrinate remarked, 'This is true love, unable to hide itself—just like fragrance and love. Narendra Modi and his forefathers have such an unhideable bond with the Muslim League. Back in 1942, during the heart of the Quit India Movement led by Maulana Azad and the clarion call of Mahatma Gandhi, the entire nation was protesting on the streets with a 'Do or Die' determination. At this critical juncture, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was in Bengal, while Modi's forebears collaborated with the Muslim League to govern Sindh and the North-West Frontier Province. Shrinate emphasized they didn’t just run the government but also advised the British on how to suppress the Quit India Movement. 'They are not loyal to us, not to you, and certainly not to Mother India. They have always been comrades with divisive entities,' she declared.

Supriya continued, 'Since our manifesto has been published, there is an uproar in the BJP camp, clueless on how to react. Our manifesto addresses the critical issues faced by the nation in the past decade—unemployment, inflation, economic inequality, hunger, poverty, and crimes against women—offering solutions to each one of them.'

'PM Modi Distracted by Communal Rhetoric Instead of Providing a Performance Report...'

'After a decade in governance, with the nation on election's brink, PM Modi reverts to his worn-out script instead of showcasing a performance report, he is immersed in stoking Hindu-Muslim tensions. It's a truth well-evident in the RSS surveys as well; the predicament of BJP is apparent.'

'Our 'Unite India Journey' and 'Justice Journey' have clearly laid out our priorities. Even our adversaries acknowledge—our manifesto is philosophically expansive,' she added.

'RSS Yearning for Its Bygone Ally...'

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge commented, 'Modi-Shah's political and ideological ancestors sided with the British and the Muslim League against the Indians during the freedom struggle. Today, they are fervently opposing Congress's justice manifesto created through contributions of ordinary Indians. They are reminiscing the Muslim League, overlooking the BJP's deteriorating electoral situation daily, to the point where even the RSS pines for its old buddy Muslim League.'

'But the truth remains—the Congress justice manifesto embodies the hopes and aspirations of India's 1.4 billion people. Their collective strength will put an end to Modi's decade of injustice,' Kharge affirmed.
