NASA and SpaceX's Crew-10 mission is currently at the International Space Station (ISS). Astronauts of the Crew-10 mission reached the ISS via the Dragon spacecraft launched by a Falcon 9 rocket. After a successful docking and opening of the hatch, the astronauts met Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore. Pictures of this encounter have gone viral on social media.
The Crew Dragon spacecraft, carried by Falcon-9, reached the ISS at 9.40 AM local time. The Crew-10 team features two American astronauts, Anne McClain and Nicole Aunapu Mann, Japan's Takuyo Onishi, and Russia's Kirill Peskov.
After docking, Crew-10 members met Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore. Sunita and Wilmore's excitement was evident as they cheerfully embraced and shared their joy with fellow astronauts.

What's Next?
Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will spend the next few days familiarizing the new astronauts with the station. They are expected to depart for Earth via the SpaceX capsule by the end of this week, weather permitting. NASA states that the SpaceX capsule will disconnect from the ISS before Wednesday and land off the coast of Florida.
President Donald Trump is particularly interested in Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore's return. He has tasked Elon Musk, owner of SpaceX, with this mission. A few days ago, Trump mentioned that Biden left Sunita and Butch Wilmore in space.
Consequently, SpaceX initiated operations for their return, but technical issues delayed the Crew-10 launch initially scheduled for March 15; it was eventually launched later. It's noteworthy that Crew-10 is the 10th crew rotation mission of SpaceX's human spaceflight transport system, marking a collaborative mission between NASA and SpaceX.
Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore embarked to the ISS last year on June 5. Their return was planned for a week later, but they were delayed due to a flaw in the Boeing Starliner. The two astronauts traveled to space as part of Boeing and NASA's joint crew flight test mission.
