The military convoy had commenced its journey towards Taftan on Saturday. It consisted of seven army buses and two additional vehicles that were caught in the attack. Reports indicate a vehicle armed with an IED collided with one of the army buses in a suicide mission.
According to SHO Zafurullah Sulaimani of Noshki Station, initial insights suggested a suicide attack. Evidence from the site implies the assailant deliberately crashed the explosive-laden vehicle into the army's convoy bus.
He further mentioned that casualties might increase. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. Balochistan's Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the assault and expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the slain soldiers.

BLA's Bold Claims Over the Attack
The BLA released a statement assuming responsibility for the daring assault. The fidayeen unit of the Baloch Liberation Army, the Majeed Brigade, orchestrated a suicide attack on the Pakistani army along the RCD Highway in Noshki. This convoy comprised eight army buses, one of which was utterly destroyed in the blast. Immediately after the attack, the BLA's Fateh squad encircled a second bus, reportedly killing all soldiers onboard. This has led to a claimed total fatality count of 90.
