Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi's Chief Minister, has been taken into custody by the ED, prompting AAP leaders and supporters to launch an offensive against the central government. Recently, Aatishi addressed the press regarding a corruption scandal in the liquor industry, and now Sunita Kejriwal, during a press conference, read a message sent by CM Kejriwal from jail.
Sunita stated, 'My dear countrymen, I have been arrested. But be assured, whether I am inside or out, I will continue serving my country every moment. My life is wholly dedicated to India; my very existence is meant for struggle. Therefore, this arrest does not surprise me. I must have been quite virtuous in my past life to have been born in India, a magnificent country. Let's unite to restore India's greatness. There are forces within and beyond our nation seeking to weaken it.'
Sunita continued, 'We need to stay vigilant, identify these forces, and overcome them. There are plenty of powers within India as well, patriotic at their core, seeking to propel the nation forward. We must connect with these powers and strengthen them.'
'I shall emerge soon, promise fulfilled...'
Reading further, Sunita conveyed CM's words, 'The women of Delhi must be wondering if they will still receive the promised ₹1000 now that I'm in custody. But no bars can contain your brother and son. I will be out soon and keep my word. Has there ever been a time when Kejriwal made a promise and didn't deliver? Your brother-son is made of stern stuff. Please visit the temple and pray for me.'
