Notorious former ISI operative, Brigadier Amir Hamza, was assassinated in cold blood while traveling with his family in Punjab's Jhelum district. Suddenly, they were ambushed by four unidentified gunmen on motorcycles near Lilla interchange, who unleashed a hail of bullets.

Only after confirming Hamza's death did the stealthy shooters retreat. Punjab police have declared it a targeted killing. Known for his ruthless espionage and as an archenemy of India, he was infamously linked to the 2018 Sunjwan camp attack orchestrated under his direction where militants breached army family quarters.

The eradication of these terrorists took the Indian Army three days, at the cost of six valiant soldiers' lives. Hamza was also a sought-after figure in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks case. In 2012, the U.S. recognized this dangerous individual as a global terrorist. Originally from Gujranwala, Punjab, he persistently plotted against India from his base.

Amir Hamza's brother expresses shock, questioning the motive behind the murder

According to the Pakistani newspaper Express Tribune, Hamza’s brother Mohammad Ayub reported there was no robbery attempt and the brigadier had no known enemies. His family remains perplexed as to why someone would target him.

Following such attacks, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry has often unfoundedly implicated India. Experts believe this menace can only be cured by these nameless vigilantes. Even notorious terrorists like Hafiz Saeed are living in fear. Amir Sarfaraz, responsible for a lethal attack on Sarabjit in a Pakistani jail, was also dispatched by these shadowy figures. Hafiz's scarce public appearances speak volumes of the dread that looms over him.
