Following the success of Operation Sindoor, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited INS Vikrant today. He applauded the immense bravery of the Indian Navy during Operation Sindoor and directly addressed Pakistan.
Rajnath Singh stated that it would be in Pakistan's favor to dismantle the terrorism breeding grounds on its soil. The initial step should be handing over terrorists like Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar to India. These individuals are not only on India's list of most wanted terrorists but are also recognized by the United Nations.
He noted that Hafiz Saeed is accountable for the Mumbai attacks. The justice for the heinous crime committed by his organization over the sea route to Mumbai is overdue. This justice cannot be fulfilled in Pakistan. Recently, another accused in the Mumbai attack, Tahawwur Rana, was brought to India. While Pakistan repeatedly extends an offer for dialogue, India has made it clear: discussions will focus on terrorism and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK). If Pakistan is sincere about negotiations, it must hand over terrorists like Saeed and Azhar to ensure justice.
What Did Rajnath Singh Say Upon Arriving at INS Vikrant?
Rajnath Singh remarked that it's intriguing how well Pakistan understands the valor of the Indian Navy. Pakistan knows the consequences of the Indian Navy's full force; 1971 is evidence when Pakistan was divided in two. Had the Indian Navy participated more robustly in Operation Sindoor, perhaps Pakistan might have split into four parts.
The Defence Minister emphasized that all personnel should be thoroughly prepared. What transpired was just a warm-up. Should Pakistan dare again, the Navy will respond decisively, leaving Pakistan and the world to witness the outcomes of its audaciousness.
Singh envisioned a scenario where, should silent sovereignty act against an army, its vocal response would be unimaginable. Though the Indian Navy’s firepower spared Pakistan this time, if Pakistan engages in another wrongful act, the Navy will not hesitate to commence proceedings. Pakistan must realize the end of the dangerous game of terrorism it’s been playing since its inception. Whenever Pakistan sponsors terrorist acts against India, it will pay not only consequences but also repeatedly face defeat.
