In Rajasthan, a young man faced dire consequences for reminding an MLA of an election promise related to water. Allegedly, MLA Arjun Lal Jingar, displeased with the social media reminder, had the young man's legs broken. Angered citizens are protesting against the legislator, while he dismisses the allegations as a conspiracy. The police are in a tough spot, as there has been no trace of the attackers even after three days.
This incident took place in Kapasan, Chittorgarh district. Suraj Mali, 30, reminded MLA Arjun Jingar of his promise to bring water to Rajrajeshwar Sarovar via social media reels. This incited the MLA's supporters to make threats.
Suraj, who works in a factory, removed the reel at his boss and supervisor's request. However, as soon as he left the factory on his bike, he was attacked by masked men in a Scorpio vehicle wielding sticks.
As a result of the attack, Suraj's both legs were fractured. Due to his severe condition, he was transferred from a hospital in Kapasan to Chittorgarh district hospital, then Udaipur's Maharana Bhupal Hospital, and now to Ahmedabad.
