PM Narendra Modi Ghana Visit:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in the African nation of Ghana, where he received a grand welcome from Ghana's President John Dramani Mahama at the airport. This marks his first official visit to Ghana. Following former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Modi is the third Indian Prime Minister to visit Ghana, ending a three-decade hiatus.

Prime Minister Modi was honored with a guard of honor and a 21-gun salute. His visit is at the invitation of President Mahama, signifying a historic occasion to fortify the friendship between the two nations. During his stay, Modi will engage in discussions on investment, energy, health, security, and development. Additionally, he will address the Ghanaian parliament.

On social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi expressed his appreciation for the special honor by President John Dramani Mahama upon his arrival in Ghana.

Tour of Five Nations by Prime Minister Modi

From July 2nd to July 9th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on visits to five countries. Ghana is his destination from July 2nd to 3rd, during which he will address the parliament and engage in bilateral talks with the President.

He will then travel to Trinidad and Tobago from July 3rd to 4th to deliver a speech in parliament and receive the highest civilian award.

On July 4th to 5th, Modi will head to Argentina for a meeting with President Javier Miley and discussions on trade, energy, investment, and renewable energy.

From July 5th to 8th, Modi will be in Brazil to attend the 17th BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro, where he will hold bilateral talks with Brazilian President and other leaders.

On July 8th and 9th, Modi will visit Namibia, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to do so. He will meet with President Hage Geingob to discuss mineral and energy partnerships.
