AIIMS Director Dr. Ashutosh Biswas stated that the student is on a ventilator, receiving cutting-edge care.

President Murmu engaged with doctors and officials to understand the victim's treatment process. She also met with the victim's brother.

After the meeting, the victim's brother quoted President Murmu as saying, 'Pray to Lord Jagannath; I will pray too. When your sister recovers, I will do something for her.'
