During the 'Future of India' session at Agenda Aaj Tak, Pranav Adani, Managing Director of Adani Group's Agro and Oil & Gas segments, spoke openly about Bihar's development and investment. and noted the potential that lies in the region.
When asked why there's optimism regarding the new power projects and the influx of over 53,000 jobs, he stressed that Bihar has long needed development initiatives crucial for connectivity.
Responding to this, Pranav Adani explained, "Having personally attended the investor summit twice, we've seen numerous opportunities. You're aware, of course, being originally from Bihar. The youth are passionate but lack opportunities, prompting them to move to other cities."
'People Want to Stay in Bihar'
He further added, "We feel that providing opportunities locally is key. During COVID, a significant number returned to Bihar. These individuals want to reside in Bihar, and there's nothing stopping its development if we seize the chance."
'We've Established a Cement Plant There'
Furthermore, Pranav mentioned, "If Bihar gains energy access—and the government understands this need—we have already set up a cement plant. Besides, we are undertaking two to three smart meter road projects. It feels like Bihar is now on a solid growth trajectory and will transform overwhelmingly in the coming days."
