Mega Program in Bihar By PM Modi: Vikramganj Rally, 10 Projects Inaugurated

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to the election-bound state of Bihar. On the first day of his tour, he arrived in Patna, where he inaugurated the new terminal building of the Patna Airport and laid the foundation stone for a new international airport in Bihta. He also conducted a grand roadshow, convened a political meeting with BJP parliamentarians, legislators, council members, and officials, and spent the night in Patna. Today, on May 30th, on the second and final day of his tour, PM Modi has another mega event planned.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a major rally in the Karakat Lok Sabha constituency's Vikramganj area. From Vikramganj in Rohtas district, he will unveil development projects worth 485 billion rupees for Bihar. Some projects are set for inauguration, and some for foundation-stone laying. According to information, Prime Minister Modi will reach Vikramganj via helicopter from Patna. A helipad has been constructed near the program venue. For the Prime Minister's rally, a massive pavilion spanning 444 acres has been erected in Vikramganj's Durgdih.

Projects for Inauguration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate projects spanning from roads to rail lines. He will inaugurate the Patna-Gaya-Dobhi four-lane road costing 24.9 billion rupees and the elevated four-lane road in Gopalganj from Vikramganj. Additionally, he will inaugurate automated block signaling from Sasaram to Anugrah Narayan Road, the third rail line between Son Nagar and Muhammad Ganj, a hostel and staff quarters in Jehanabad, and the third line between Kajrat Nawadih and Son Nagar.

Projects for Foundation-Stone Laying

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for three units of 800 MW under Phase Two of the Nabinagar Power Project, a bridge over the Ganges between Buxar and Bharauli on National Highway-922, and construction work on the Ramnagar-Kachchi Dargah NH-119 D. The estimated cost of these projects is 108.3 billion rupees. PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone for projects in Patna's Harding Park, including five-terminal railway platform construction, a four-lane section on NH-119 A between Patna-Ara-Sasaram, and a six-lane expansion on NH-319 B from Varanasi to Ranchi to Kolkata.
