During his address at Surat Airport, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Bihar's 'historic victory' and emphasized that the people of Bihar have set a new political direction by prioritizing development. He stated that such a massive win in Bihar would be incomplete without meeting the Biharis living in Surat as he traveled through. From the stage, he said, 'It's only right that I meet my Bihari brothers and sisters in Surat.'
PM Modi recalled that even during his tenure as Gujarat's Chief Minister, his mantra was always, 'India's development through Gujarat's development.' He stressed that his core philosophy always remains 'Nation First.' He mentioned that every corner and state of India is revered, thus recognizing Bihar's prestige is a natural thing to do.
The Prime Minister shared that when Bihar completed 100 years, the event was celebrated in Gujarat with pride in Bihar, and 100 contributors to Bihar's development journey were honored in Surat.
Discussing Bihar's election results, the Prime Minister pointed out that this victory is a testament to Bihar's political maturity. He noted a nearly 10% difference between NDA's victory and the Grand Alliance's defeat, reflecting the people's clear mandate. PM Modi asserted that Bihar's talent is evident everywhere, and this election clearly showed how women and the youth, 'MY,' have given BJP and NDA newfound strength.
PM Modi said that Bihar has entirely rejected the poison of caste and communalism, and every section of society has supported the NDA. NDA won 34 seats where Dalit influence was significant.
Targeting Congress, he declared that 'Muslim Maoist Congress (MMC)' will not be accepted by the nation. He claimed that Congress is afraid for its own future. PM Modi stated that young Congress MPs express that they do not get opportunities to speak in Parliament, casting doubt on the future of their political careers.
