In Greater Noida West's Bisrakh area, significant action has been taken against a trainee sub-inspector and his two accomplices for extorting money from a cab driver. Both have been arrested. The vehicles used in the incident have been seized. Despite being aware of the incident, the DCP Central has been removed from his post for hiding the information and not informing senior officers for two days. The Bisrakh station in-charge and the Gaur City 1 outpost in-charge have been suspended.

It was reported that Rakesh Tomar, a cab driver from Baghpat's Badaut, had filed a written complaint with the Police Commissioner. It stated that on the night of August 2, around 1 am, he had come to Gaur City, 11 Avenue from Delhi's Panchsheel Vihar after dropping off a female passenger.

Allegedly, five people in two cars approached the cab driver and misbehaved with him after forcing him out of the car. One of them was in a police uniform. They took him to a deserted place where they beat him and snatched seven thousand rupees from him. When the driver said he had no money left for expenses, the accused gave him five hundred rupees and told him to leave. The victim then reported the incident to the police control room.

After the incident, the in-charge of Gaur City outpost pressurized for a settlement. It was then discovered that the policeman in uniform was an inspector posted at Gaur City one. Other unknown individuals were also present. When the victim reached the police outpost and lodged a complaint, the outpost in-charge summoned the accused trainee sub-inspector and identified him but did not reveal his name. He then asked the victim to settle the matter by returning the seven thousand rupees, but the victim refused. Subsequently, the victim complained to the Police Commissioner.

Following the cab driver's complaint, Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh assigned the investigation to ACP 2 Bisrakh. During the investigation, ACP 2 Bisrakh contacted the victim. After verifying the facts, a case was registered against the accused at Bisrakh police station. Subsequently, trainee sub-inspector Amit Mishra and his two accomplices Abhinav and Ashish were arrested by the police.

Two vehicles used in the incident, a Scorpio and a Hyundai Venue, have been seized. The arrested trainee inspector Amit Mishra has been dismissed from service under rule 8(2)(B) of the Police Officers Subordinate Category Penal and Appeal Rules, 1991.

For hiding this incident for two days, DCP Suniti of Noida Central has been removed from her post. Shakti Mohan Awasthi has been appointed as DCP Central Noida in her place. Additionally, Bisrakh station in-charge, Gaur City-1 outpost in-charge sub-inspector Ramesh Chandra, and Mohit have been suspended.

After this incident, several station in-charges of Noida Central have also been rotated. Inspector Manoj Kumar has been appointed as the in-charge of Bisrakh police station from Surajpur police station in-charge. Similarly, Inspector Vinod Kumar, in-charge of Ecotech Third police station, has been appointed as the in-charge of Surajpur police station, while Inspector Anil Pandey has been appointed as the in-charge of Ecotech Third police station from the police line.
