from a local well. The revelation emerged while investigating a recent robbery incident in this area, leaving the officers amazed during the well inspection.
Reports suggest that on October 21, a mobile store in Mumbai’s Kurar area fell victim to a theft. The police apprehended Jai Kumar, Manoj Kumar Patel, and another suspect. During interrogation, the trio revealed the plan to hide the stolen goods in a well.
Prompted by this confession, the authorities arrived at the designated well in Kurar, where an intriguing scene unfolded as they discovered gold and silver jewelry.
As per law enforcement, the criminals concealed the jewelry in waterproof bags. The arrested individuals have prior theft charges. Interestingly, locals noted that children frequently swam in this well, masking any suspicions.
