Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Prayagraj. On this occasion, he took a sacred bath at the Sangam during the Maha Kumbh and performed rituals to honor the River Ganges. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also present.
With PM Modi's visit to Prayagraj, stringent security measures are in place. Joining him are both Deputy Chief Ministers, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, among other senior state ministers.

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a sacred dip at Prayagraj's Triveni Sangam, dressed in saffron garments, adorned with a rudraksha garland, and reciting verses while diving into the Sangam.
Modi's aircraft touched down at Bamrauli Airport. He was greeted by Governor Anandiben Patel, CM Yogi, and both deputy CMs. From the airport, a helicopter transported him to DPS helipad. His convoy then proceeded to VIP Ghat in Arail and reached Sangam by boat.

- PM Modi has entered the Maha Kumbh Mela area. Over 38.29 crore devotees have bathed in its holy waters, with over 47.30 lakh taking dips today alone.
- PM Modi arrived at Prayagraj Airport, then traveled to Arail's DPS helipad via Air Force helicopter where he was welcomed by Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.
Since January 13, over 14 crore devotees have taken sacred dips at Maha Kumbh, including notable figures like Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Central Minister Kiren Rijiju, former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, and UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Dignitaries from several countries have also participated in the sacred bath.

On February 1, Delegates from 77 Countries Took the Holy Dip
Three days ago, on February 1st, a delegation of 118 members from 77 countries took the holy dip at Maha Kumbh. This included various diplomats and their families. Participating countries were Russia, Malaysia, Bolivia, Zimbabwe, Latvia, Uruguay, Netherlands, Mongolia, Italy, Japan, Germany, Jamaica, USA, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, Cameroon, Ukraine, Slovenia, and Argentina, among others. The UP government has expressed the diplomats’ satisfaction with the travel arrangements made.
