At the CM's quarters located at 5 Kalidas Marg, senior officials including DGP Prashant Kumar, ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash have assembled. Prior to this, PM Modi has engaged in telephonic discussions with CM Yogi three times. Additionally, Home Minister Amit Shah has also reached out to inquire about the situation.

CM Yogi Adityanath has urged pilgrims to use the nearest bathing ghats for their holy dip and avoid attempting to reach the Sangam nose area. Numerous bathing ghats have been set up, and devotees are advised to follow administrative instructions and cooperate in maintaining order. Disregard any rumors.
It's important to note that PM Narendra Modi is personally overseeing the incident and relief operations. Over the past two hours, he has communicated with the UP CM thrice, ensuring heightened vigilance.
The Akhara Council initially canceled the Amrit Snan; however, they have now stated that the bathing procession will resume once the crowd dissipates. Despite the commotion, many people continue to attempt reaching the Sangam shore, and sadhus are urging people not to crowd the area.
Since the MahaKumbh began on January 13, nearly 200 million people have already taken a dip in the Ganges. Today, on Mauni Amavasya, expectations are high for over 100 million pilgrims to arrive.
