Addressing a rally in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his condolences to those affected by the Mahakumbh stampede. He assured, 'I'm in constant communication with the UP government. Millions of devotees had arrived in Prayagraj due to Mouni Amavasya. The incident temporarily halted the ritual baths, but everything has now returned to normal.'

'Wishes for the Quick Recovery of Injured'

Earlier, PM Modi tweeted, 'The accident at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj is deeply saddening. My heartfelt condolences are with those who lost family members. I also extend my wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured. The local administration is fully engaged in assisting the victims. I've spoken to Chief Minister Yogi Ji and remain in touch with the state government.'
