A tragic incident in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh's capital, unfolded with a devastating cylinder blast. A family of nine fell victim to this unfortunate event. Despite quick medical attention, five lives were lost, leaving four others in serious condition. The fire brigade worked tirelessly to extinguish the blaze.

This incident occurred in Hata Hazrat Sahib Kakori, Lucknow, where Mushir Ali was engaged in embroidery work. Gas cylinders stored in Mushir's home ignited a fire, leading to a loud explosion.

The explosion engulfed Mushir and his family of nine in flames, causing panic throughout the neighborhood. Witnesses called the fire brigade and police, who arrived promptly to combat the fire.

Upon arrival, the police escorted Mushir and his family to the hospital, where five succumbed, including Mushir Ali, his wife Husna Bano, niece Huma, Hiba, and niece Raiya. Mushir's two daughters, another niece, and son Azmat were critically injured.

The blast's force even demolished a room wall. Initially, police suspect a short circuit caused the fire, triggering two cylinder explosions. Firefighters, with the aid of three fire engines, managed to curb the fire.

According to the Lucknow Police Commissionerate, the LPG cylinder blast in Kakori injured 9 individuals, resulting in 5 deaths. The deceased include one woman, one man, and three young girls, all from the same family. Four others remain critically injured and are receiving treatment at Lucknow’s trauma center. Their condition, however, remains serious.

The initial cause of the gas cylinder explosion appears to be a short circuit, resulting in two cylinder blasts followed by a fire. Fire brigade arrived with three trucks, successfully controlling the flames with firefighter support. An ongoing investigation aims to clarify the details further and facilitate legal proceedings.
