In a stirring press conference, Delhi's Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, presents a powerful 10-point guarantee to the citizens ahead of the general elections. Despite delays due to his arrest, Kejriwal asserts that many phases of the election remain. 'These guarantees are a vision for India. It's time to decide whom to trust: Modi's or Kejriwal’s guarantee,' he stated.
Kejriwal highlighted the current national debate on Modi's guarantees – promises like INR 1.5 million, 2 million jobs annually, Swaminathan report implementation, doubling farmer incomes by 2022, 24-hour electricity, and smart cities were made. Yet, unfortunately, none were fulfilled.
Kejriwal boasts delivering on his promises by improving schools and health clinics. 'On one side is Modi's guarantee, and on the other is Kejriwal's. Who will deliver on Modi’s promises? Kejriwal will fulfill his own,' he confidently remarked.
Here are CM Kejriwal's 10 Guarantees:
1. Electricity Guarantee – Like in Delhi, we will provide 24-hour free electricity nationwide. No more power cuts, with an investment of over 1.25 trillion INR. Poor across the country will receive 200 units of free electricity.
2. Education Guarantee – Following Delhi and Punjab's models, we'll make government schools superior to private ones. Education will be free, entailing an expense of 5 trillion INR.
3. Health Guarantee – A healthy nation progresses. With private healthcare looting and ailing public hospitals, we'll improve the latter to match private standards. Insurance-based schemes are scams, and we'll spend 5 trillion INR in this sector.
4. Nationalist Priority – We’ll reclaim our land from China's occupation. Not acknowledging the issue won't solve it. We will not hold back our forces.
5. Discontinue Agniveer Program – We’ll revert to the old recruitment process and offer permanency to all the Agniveers who have been inducted to date.
6. Farmers' Welfare – We'll ensure MSP for all crops as per the Swaminathan Commission and ensure farmers get the full price for their produce.

8. Unemployment – We have a detailed plan to systematically eliminate unemployment and will create 2 million jobs within a year.
9. Anti-Corruption – We'll dismantle the BJP's 'washing machine' and end the regime that protects the dishonest. Our country will be freed from corruption.
10. Industry and Trade – The central government is intimidating traders. We'll simplify GST so businesses can thrive. We aim to surpass China in trade.
