On April 22nd, a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir claimed the lives of 26 tourists. Match Relocated to Ahmedabad
The closure of the Dharamshala airport, prompted by Indian missile strikes on terrorist bases in Pakistan, has disrupted travel plans for IPL teams scheduled to play there. The Punjab Kings (PBKS) vs. Mumbai Indians (MI) match, originally set for May 11th (Sunday) at the HPCA Stadium, is now relocated to Ahmedabad.
Anil Patel, Secretary of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA), confirmed this to PTI. The Punjab Kings vs. Mumbai Indians match will take place on May 11th, starting at 3:30 PM, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Anil Patel stated, 'The BCCI requested us, and we agreed. The Mumbai Indians are arriving today, with details on the Punjab Kings' travel plans to follow.'
Punjab vs. Delhi to Stay in Dharamshala
