This is the first time representatives of the Indian Army will visit the homes of 545 families to honor them. A team will tour 25 states, 2 union territories, and Nepal. The Indian Army will present a gratitude letter, a memento, and information about official benefits from various central and state government agencies.

Closing Ceremony
These events will culminate on July 26, 2025, with a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Kargil War Memorial, symbolizing honor and respect for the brave souls who laid down their lives for the nation. This two-month-long remembrance not only honors the past but also inspires current and future generations to uphold the values of service and sacrifice.
