The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) made a significant victory in the 1993 elections, claiming the governance of the Union Territory of Delhi. After a setback in 1998, the BJP is now gearing up to reclaim its influence with full force. The party is preparing to deploy its most prominent face, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to spearhead the election campaign.
Reports indicate that the BJP has crafted an intensive campaign schedule featuring PM Modi's electrifying rallies in Delhi. In the final phase of the campaign, PM Modi is slated to deliver multiple addresses over three days. His first rally is scheduled for January 29, followed by additional rallies on January 31 and February 2.
According to BJP insiders, PM Modi's Delhi campaign will commence with a rally on January 29 in Northeast Delhi. He will engage with the public again on January 31 in Dwarka. The location for his third rally on February 2 is yet to be finalized.
Notably, the BJP has devised a unique strategy for this election, focusing on each vote bank meticulously, assigning specific leaders with key responsibilities. Manoj Tiwari has been tasked with winning over voters from eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Meanwhile, Anurag Thakur has been included in the star campaigners list to appeal to the hill voters.

Heavyweight ministers like Nitin Gadkari, Manoharlal Khattar, and Shivraj Singh Chouhan will appeal for votes for BJP candidates while highlighting the developmental initiatives undertaken by the Central Government in Delhi. Chief Ministers from BJP-led states such as Yogi Adityanath from Uttar Pradesh and Pushkar Singh Dhami from Uttarakhand will also be visible on the campaign front.

It's notable that voting for Delhi's 70 Assembly seats is scheduled for February 5, with the campaign concluding by 5 PM on February 3. In its final campaign phase, the BJP aims to shift the electoral breeze in its favor by deploying PM Modi as its lead campaigner.
