Police Narrate Their Side

SSP Rajkaran Nayyar shared that at about 3:00 AM, they received information about animal smugglers arriving in a village with two pickup trucks. As villagers pursued, one truck got bogged down, and the marauders fled. A legal complaint has been lodged based on the family's statement, and post-mortem actions are in process.

The SSP pointed out that rumors alleging a gunshot wound spread swiftly but were unsubstantiated. Five police teams are actively working to detain the suspects.
