The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an 'Orange' alert for the entire Delhi and southwestern NCR area at 9:05 AM Tuesday morning. The weather agency had warned of moderate to heavy rain (1-3 cm/hour) continuing over central and eastern Delhi.

The rain has brought relief to many areas, significantly dropping temperatures and providing relief from the scorching heat. However, commuters had mixed experiences; while some enjoyed the pleasant weather, others faced challenges due to flooded streets and increased traffic congestion.
