Rainy Night Turns Deadly for Bikers... Two Die in Collision with Tree

In Mayurbhanj district, two young men lost their lives after their bike collided with a tree. Police identified the deceased as Shyam Marandi, 20, and Sundar Marandi, 24, residents of Ulidi village under Morada police station. The tragic incident occurred late Sunday night due to heavy rainfall. A case of unnatural death has been registered and an investigation has begun.

In the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, two young motorcyclists lost their lives after their bike crashed into a tree. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, took the bodies into custody, and sent them for post-mortem. They identified the victims and informed their families about the tragedy. The police stated that a case of unnatural death has been filed and an investigation is ongoing.

According to the police, the deceased were identified as Shyam Marandi, 20, and Sundar Marandi, 24, both residents of Ulidi village under Morada police station. The accident occurred late Sunday night due to heavy rainfall. On Monday morning, villagers found the bike and two bodies in a paddy field near Pariauda village on Chitrada-Dantiamuha Road.

Heavy Rain Leads to Collision with Tree

Police indicated that the heavy rainfall likely caused the bike to crash into the tree. Subsequently, both riders fell into a waterlogged field and succumbed to their injuries. Satyanarayan Bal, the officer in charge of Morada police station, said the bodies were taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. An unnatural death case has been filed and investigations are continuing. Further actions will be taken based on the findings.
