In her complaint to Gurugram Police, the victim reported being admitted to the hospital by her husband on the night of April 5, at around 10 PM. Placed on a ventilator in the ICU, she was unable to verbalize due to her condition. On April 6, around 9 PM, two nurses were attending to her, changing her clothes and bedding, when she overheard a man's voice but was unable to respond due to her sedated state. Despite this, she claimed to have heard everything clearly.

At that moment, the accused requested a list from the nurses, who began providing their details. He then interrogated the nurses about the size of the victim's waistband and decided to personally check it. The victim further narrated, "I felt a man's hand beneath the sheet to my right." She described the unpleasant experience of being sexually harassed in the nurses' presence.

Afterward, he asked the victim if her sheet sufficiently covered her nose, to which she nodded. Terrified and immobilized, she could not retaliate or speak. After his departure, a nurse questioned why blood appeared on the freshly changed sheet, assuming menstruation or injury, but the victim feared revealing the truth.

Subsequently, the victim chose silence due to fear. Discharged from the hospital on April 13, she returned to the hotel with her husband, eventually disclosing the ordeal. They dialed 112 and contacted authorities. The victim expressed, "What happened during my hospital treatment was horrendous. I demand stringent action against the hospital staff." She was in Gurugram undertaking a company training program.

While staying in a hotel there, she suffered an incident at the swimming pool, leading to decreased health and necessitating private hospital admission, during which this vile act was committed. Gurugram Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar confirmed, "We are actively investigating the case. Our priority is identifying and bringing the perpetrator to justice." The victim's statement was recorded before a magistrate in court, ensuring her voice is heard.
